Camel wool jacket
CAMEL WOOL JACKET - A REAL HIT OF THIS WINTER!
Review of popular models of the Freever brand.
Even if you have a coat in your wardrobe for winter and a raincoat for spring, a jacket was, is and always will be the outerwear that is good for all occasions and is hard to do without.
Modern models of men's and women's jackets are made of textiles, bologna, leather, suede, raincoat fabric, denim, stretch leatherette. They all have different performance characteristics, but in terms of practicality, the leader is polyester - a special type of synthetic fabric made of polyester fibers with the characteristics of cotton and the appearance of wool.
For warm autumn and spring, a light demi-season jacket made of 100% polyester will be a great solution, and for the cold off-season and winter - a polyester model with an insulated lining. The most commonly used artificial fillers are: synthetic padding, holofiber, thinsulate. Of the natural ones, the most popular are down, sheepskin and camel wool.
We decided to talk about the latter in this article. Why? Because the autumn-winter collection of outerwear for men from the popular Ukrainian manufacturer Freever has a series of new, warm, comfortable and, as always, fashionable items - camel wool jackets.
Unlike a classic down jacket, a camel wool jacket has less volume and weight, while remaining warmer. And, believe me, these are not all of its advantages. But first, let's answer a completely natural question that many people have when they see the price tag: "Why is it so expensive!?"
Camel wool is the oldest insulation material used by humans. The method of producing woolen products has changed little - only the technology has improved. At the same time, the trend for camel wool clothing appeared only at the beginning of the 21st century. It would be a mistake to think that these things have changed the world of fashion radically, but it is quite obvious that they have brought a new accent. After some time, the raw material popular for making clothing and bedding began to be used as a filler for warm clothes. And today, in any store of the middle and expensive price range, you will definitely be offered to buy a jacket made of camel wool.
"Why is it so expensive!?"
Camel wool products are made exclusively from the wool of non-working animals. Camel fluff, or undercoat, is used in production. In babies, it is combed out of the chest (such fluff is very expensive because it is the most delicate), and in adults, it is not cut or combed out, but simply collected in the spring, when they shed it intensively. The highest quality camel wool and camel down in the world is recognized as the wool of Mongolian Bactrians - two-humped ships of the desert. Depending on the density, camel wool can be heavy or light. Products made from it are hygroscopic, lightweight, have low thermal conductivity and breathe well.
Camel down jacket is a Mercedes in the world of winter outerwear, and it really is not cheap. Now it's time to figure out what is so valuable about this wool.
AFTER ASSESSING ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF A CAMEL WOOL JACKET, YOU WILL NEVER WEAR YOUR OLD COAT AGAIN!
Or 6 reasons why camel wool filler is the best in the world.
Among all types of wool, camel down is the most unique. It would be fair to say that it is the most ideal non-woven material, possessing such a set of amazing properties that are often found separately in nature and very rarely together.
- Firstly, camel down is light and very warm because the hairs have a unique hollow structure. The outer surface of the hair is covered with a thin layer of lanolin (animal wax), so it is not afraid of water. The inner surface has absorbent properties, that is, it is able to absorb excess moisture. When the temperature changes, the diameter of the hair cavity changes: at room temperature, the wool pushes out moisture, and at body temperature, it expands and absorbs excess evaporation. But as soon as you take off your clothes, they immediately begin to dry, and much more intensively than any other. Therefore, when wearing camel wool for a long time, you will never sweat and will feel only one thing - dry warmth.
- Secondly, camel wool is hypoallergenic. Moreover, it is hypoallergenic from the moment it is born, and not because it is vacuum-treated (as is done with other types of wool, for example, down or sheep wool). The whole point is that there is practically no fat either on the surface or inside camel hair. And as is known, it is fat that is the nutrient medium for microorganisms, the results of whose vital activity most often cause allergic reactions in people hypersensitive to allergens.
- Thirdly, the hollow structure of the hair allows air to pass through freely, so there is no threat of a greenhouse effect in clothes made from camel wool or in clothes where it is used as a filler.
- Fourthly, camel wool is elastic, flexible, has a low specific gravity, and is sufficiently strong and wear-resistant.
- Fifthly, thanks to lanolin wax, camel wool neutralizes toxins and removes static electricity, rather than multiplying it, as ordinary wool does. Therefore, things made from "camel" are so easy to care for and use.
- Sixthly, products made from camel wool (thanks to the same lanolin) not only make life easier for people with arthritis, arthrosis, gout, osteochondrosis, varicose veins and other diseases, they are surprisingly warm to the touch and pleasant to wear. In addition, wool has the ability to repel dust and protects a person from the effects of electromagnetic fields. A special sign on our jacket indicates this.
Among the disadvantages, there is one specific one - camel wool is liked not only by people, but also by moths. If the rules for storing woolen products are not followed, this small insect can make clothes completely unusable.
JACKET TOP MATERIAL - 100% POLYESTER.
Polyester clothing is almost always warm and dry.
Polyester is a durable synthetic fabric that shows itself very well during use. It is lightweight (1 m2 of fabric weighs only 320 grams) and demonstrates a high degree of protection from snow, rain, low temperatures, wind and UV rays. The unnaturalness of the fabric did not have a bad effect on its appearance and tactile qualities - polyester looks beautiful and is very pleasant to the touch.
The material is resistant to friction and stretching. It hardly wrinkles, is easy to wash, and dries quickly. If simple rules of use and care are followed, it does not fade or discolor. Good water-repellent properties prevent the fabric from staining. Polyester is stain-resistant, does not pill, and does not absorb odors. The low elasticity of the fabric allows the clothes to retain their shape well, and the synthetic base is not susceptible to rot or mold in humid conditions.
DESIGN FEATURES OF JACKETS.
If you see a jacket or down jacket with a thermometer, don't be surprised, this is outerwear with climate control.
