Technologies, materials and cut of FREEEVER ski jackets
Freever ski jacket - technical filling with elegant style.
Every year, more and more Ukrainians choose the Freever ski jacket not only as equipment for sports, but also as regular outerwear for everyday use in the cold season. A number of unique technologies distinguish the clothing from other representatives of the winter wardrobe.
- Membrane.
- Freever 4-WAY.
- Freever RIPSTOP.
- Freever LOFT SYSTEM.
- Freever TERMO SYSTEM.
- Additional ventilation.
- Articulated elbows.
- Taped seams for protection from atmospheric conditions.
1. Membrane fabric.
Active movement on the ski slope involves increased sweating. Therefore, ski clothing should be made in such a way that excess heat and moisture can freely leave it without accumulating inside, as this leads to rapid hypothermia. In addition, the jacket and trousers should reliably protect from wind and snow - a source of cold, dampness and water.
Today, the ideal solution for ski clothing, which will definitely not have problems with vapor permeability, wind and moisture protection, is membrane fabric (in everyday speech it is sometimes simply called a membrane). This is a type of fabric that, due to its special structure, allows you to stay dry in the rain, while the body does not sweat due to lack of air. This is the kind of comfort that ski jackets Freever provide.
2. Freever 4-WAY Technology - Superior fit with full range of motion.
When properly sized, Freever ski suits and jackets with 4-WAY technology fit perfectly, do not bulge or bubble. The clothes gently emphasize the silhouette and add lightness and tautness to the image. At the same time, they do not restrict movement at all.
You can ride in any style, with maximum comfort for yourself, perform turns, bends, squats, without experiencing any discomfort. The secret is that the upper fabric using 4-way technology stretches perfectly (and also quickly recovers) in the longitudinal and transverse directions. This gives greater freedom of movement and maintains a beautiful appearance for a long time. Ski jackets with 4-WAY technology are noticeably softer and more elastic than others.
3. Freever RIPSTOP technology is high strength and wear resistance.
Ski jackets with fabric made using rip-stop technology (or ripstop) are highly durable and resistant to tears and punctures. The structure of the fabric uses reinforced threads made of polyester or nylon. They are woven into the fabric crosswise at a distance of 5 to 8 mm from each other.
The reinforcing fibers are slightly larger in volume than the main fibers of the fabric, so the checkered pattern stands out on the finished fabric. Advantages of rip-stop fabric:
- Durability. Even if a hole appears on the canvas, it will not spread or increase in size.
- Resistance to deformation and abrasion. Items do not wrinkle, shrink, stretch, or pill.
- Water resistance. Ripstop does not let moisture through, dries very quickly after washing.
- Frost resistance - the fabric easily withstands repeated alternating freezing and thawing without visible signs of destruction and without reducing strength.
Ski jackets with rip-stop technology are tougher than others. These are clothes that are not killed or worn out. They are not afraid of significant mechanical loads, and it is almost impossible to tear them. That's why rip-stop jackets are primarily intended for people in extreme conditions. Rip-stop fabric is characterized by a slight rustling sound, and its elasticity is almost zero. At the same time, the jacket is very comfortable due to its ergonomic cut.
4. Freever LOFT SYSTEM technology is a warm, soft and airy filler.
The advanced synthetic insulation Freever Loft System is designed for use in clothing that requires high thermal insulation with low weight, and the ability to retain heat even when wet. Loft System does not let the cold through, creates an effective thermal barrier and helps the body retain heat. It is 10 times lighter than "regular" synthetic insulation, while retaining twice as much heat.
Many people who want to use the Freever ski jacket "not for its intended purpose" doubt that it is warm enough. After all, the thickness of its filler is thinner than that of a winter jacket or down jacket. Yes, indeed, the thickness of the filler is less. But do not forget that freeride clothing should be comfortable, light and warm at the same time. It is assumed that a person will be active in a ski jacket, and will have at least one more layer of clothing - thermal underwear. Therefore, for a leisurely walk in severe frost, it is enough to put on a fleece jacket, and you will definitely not freeze.
5. Freever TERMO SYSTEM technology is a lining that reflects and retains a person's own heat.
The lining of the Freever ski jacket / suit is equipped with Termo System technology.
A large number of silver dots located on the inside of the jacket reflect a person's own heat. At the same time, the thermal lining does not interfere with thermoregulation: excess evaporation of the body is freely removed to the outside.
6. Additional ventilation
Membrane fabric successfully solves the problem of removing excess body vapor, but there are situations when the membrane does not cope. During intensive skating in warm weather, the body releases so much heat and moisture that comfortable heat exchange is disrupted.
For such cases, ventilation is provided - a number of technological holes in clothing (on the jacket - on the sides under the sleeves, on the trousers - on the inner thighs), which are closed with a zipper until use. The holes are protected by a fine mesh - it somewhat dampens the force of the wind and holds back the snow. The degree of opening of the zipper sets the amount of air entering, and accordingly the level of comfort.
7. Articulated elbows.
It takes into account the peculiarities of movement during skating. On the one hand, it provides the necessary freedom of action, and on the other hand, it allows the clothes to fit tightly to the body, creating a compact and comfortable silhouette. On jackets, the articulated cut is used in the shoulder and elbow area, and on trousers - in the knee area.
8. Taped seams for weather protection.
All internal seams in Freever ski jackets and suits are not just strong, but especially strong. In order for them to be completely wind and waterproof, they are glued (sealed) from the inside with a special tape at high temperature. Products with glued seams do not get wet even in heavy rain.
The Ukrainian brand is constantly expanding its product range and introducing new technologies aimed at improving the quality, comfort and safety of equipment. At a relatively affordable price, Freever ski items are distinguished by excellent quality and their own style.
